FOTD: #1

So, I went with color combo #1:

fotd-12-16

I like how this turned out. It also gave me another chance to use Fixated eye shadow. I don’t find it easy to pair up with other colors and it doesn’t end up looking a mess. This is why pics like this help me, lol… maybe I’m just losing my touch…uh oh.

Here’s what I used today:

Shade + Light face contour palette – the shade Shadowplay (on cheeks), Melt Cosmetics eye shadows – Fixated (on outer corners), Antiqued (transition color…quite pretty), Amelie (inner half of lid and lower lash line) and Harsh Stone White (brow highlight), Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation in Medium 62, Cinema Secrets Ultralucent Setting Powder in Soft Custard, Make Up For Ever XL pencil (waterline), Senna Cosmetics Powder Brow Pencil in Dark Brown, MAC Prep + Prime 24 Hour Extend Eye Base (eye primer), Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II, Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, Lucy Minerals Mineral Liner in Matte Black (upper lash line), NARS Radiant Creamy concealer in Ginger (eye base and evening out darkness) and Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix setting spray

And here’s how they look on my face:

Do you see that Harsh Stone White under the arch of my brow? OWWWWWWW!!!

    1. Thank you!!!

Believe it or not Kat Von D’s liquid lipsticks are actually quite tolerable. I’ve worn her liquid lipsticks without a lip balm and it didn’t wreck havoc on my lips unlike the others. Thank goodness, lol.
