FOTD: Peachy Warmth

Another “inspiration” FOTD, here! I love it when I see posts like this on Instagram. It helps me to come up with eye looks, since I’ve been in a makeup idea drought.  I took inspiration from this post:

Here’s the products I used today:

Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Creme in White Out (eye base), Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II, Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, MAC Prep + Prime 24-Hour Extend Eye Base, Melt Cosmetics Blurr e/s (transition color), Amelie e/s (on the lid), Rust e/s on the outer corner, Rott e/s to (deepen crease), Lily Lolo blush in Flushed, Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation SPF in Cinnamon (as foundation), Lucy Minerals Brow Powder in Neutral, Lucy Minerals Mineral FOundation in Tan Olive (as a brow highlight), Lily Lolo Flawless Matte Finishing Powder (to set foundation), Lily Lolo bronzer in Bondi Bronze. (I forgot to add the under-eye concealer in the pic, which is Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation in Coffee Bean.)

And here’s the look:

  1. Very pretty neutral look. I am wearing basically the same look today for work. I have questions for you. How long should you keep an eyeshadow before you replace it? Do they expire?

    1. Thank you! 🙂

As for eyeshadows and expiration dates, no they don’t expire! (The powder ones.) Being that it’s powder, bacteria cannot grow because the ingredients are inert. So, you can keep them as long as you’d like!

  2. I purchased the quad and never wore it. I was being a foolish passenger on the Mac train. Because of you, I now know there are other lines that work for us.

    1. Girl, we’ve all been on that M.A.C. train! I feel you, though. I’ve spent way too much money on that brand, even though I still love a good portion of their products!

Glad to have open that “door” to other brands for you! 🙂
